Sunday Homily

We listen to a divine teaching, immediately after the election of the Apostles, a missionary mandate. Do not fear, not even of death, be open, for Jesus tells us that He is with us. In this missionary commitment, He will protect us, guide us and reveal the truth and this truth will save us. Some of us may express the same lament of the prophet Jeremiah, yet let us keep his faith, an unshakeable faith that makes his lament turn into praise.

"Sing to the Lord, praise the Lord: he has delivered the poor from the hand of the wicked. "A man of faith cannot live in fear. Today we celebrate the father's day. He is our Father, let us put all our trust in God, He is our message, He is the One who contains our whole life and we are witnesses of it. Jesus himself tells us, "As for you, even the hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid.

The first Christian duty is that he should welcome Christ every day in his brothers and sisters, that he should transform every human encounter into a divine encounter, and that he should learn to live his life joyfully in every situation. We are sent to this world, a world that God loves. Through the Incarnation God has told us that He will be with us until the end of the world, and we believe that He is still with us, present here among us. It is in diversity and difference that God shows us his unity of the Trinity, not in uniformity. We are different, different in thought and in being. This diversity is willed by God.

Like the Apostles, we are chosen, consecrated and sent by God. In fulfilling this missionary task, let us never forget what God said to the prophet Samuel, when he was sent to the house of Jessé to consecrate David: "God does not look as men do, men look at the appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. "The Prophet Samuel with his patience recognized that this little boy "had beautiful eyes, he was handsom. "You must see the world with the eyes of God. And we will see its wonders.

My friends, God is with us, He takes care of us and let us be happy and announce the Good News courageously. We must work with Him and through Him, not against men who do evil, and our fight is against evil, against everything that separates us from divine love. I wish you a good mission. On this Father's Day, let us pray for the fathers of the world. May the Lord bless them and accompany them, Amen.
