21 In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 22 All things have been delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and any one to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." 23 Then turning to the disciples he said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see what you see! 24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."
Jesus is asking us to praise and thank the Father, just like Him. We are very much blessed in the sense that we understand how much God loved us and still continues to love us. It is important thus to see all that is happening in and around us with Faith and discover how much God is active in these events. Once we discover this marvellous work of the Lord, we too like Jesus will be able to praise God with a sincere heart. It is possible only if we watch very carefully all the movements of life both externally and the force which is moving us internally. This too should be seen with the eyes of Faith, which will help us to participate not only in the joy of Jesus and will make us worthy to glorify God, not merely by worlds, but by life, in truth and Spirit.
